Krysten Sinema Ready to Deal on the Filibuster?

From the senator’s private twitter

The Violence Against Women Act expired because Congress didn't do its job. We’re continuing to call on Congress to permanently renew #VAWA and ensure survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault can access the support they need.

There has been some talk about nuking the filibusters only for voting rights and civil rights legislation.  The VAWA is not a voting rights act and might or might not be considered a civil rights act (it certainly is a human rights act).

Hum.  So, is this hinting at a deal?  The filibuster dies on VAWA reauthorization (meaning that Senator Sinema doesn’t set off Republicans/Racists by voting to kill it for either civil or voting rights) and the Grand Canyon Protection Act goes into the transportation bill, giving the Senator a high profile home state win.

Seems like we may have a deal here. . .
